Hey! Call me Sky, Zack, or Tempest. I'm a freelance illustrator with a passion for working with bold colors, landscapes, and colorful animals.My current goal is to have fun drawing, and creating art that others will enjoy as well!
All commissions come with a simple/atmospheric background by default, and can be upgraded to a full scene. Prices for each level are noted, and increase based on complexity.I tend to vary in style, so if there's a specific example you'd like me to base your commission off of, please let me know! Otherwise, I will choose what I feel is best for the image and let you know of the direction.Check out my tags page for more examples.

Backgrounds start at an additional $10 for simple scenes. Example 1 is simple, 2 and 3 are moderate.
Generally unshaded/atmospheric, but shading can be discussed.

Head/icon: $15-comes with a transparent background by default. Can request an outline or decorative background for no additional charge.Complex designs may be simplified.
Symmetrical/"Anti-Style"
Flat Color: $20
Shading: $25Headshot with abstract/solid background only. Originally came from a "draw the opposite of your style" challenge, now a regular offering!
Experimental/PWYW
Want something I haven't shown above? Or maybe looking for a smaller piece at a lower price? This option is here for that!Simpler sketches can start at $5 with a quicker turnaround time, and speedpaints can start at $20. These are more artistic liberty based and generally will not have approval sketches.If there is something unique you have an idea on, let me know and we can work out a price together.
Terms of Service
The most important thing to keep in mind when commissioning me is that I'm multiply disabled and in a full time job. While I do respect my commissioner's time, I also need to prioritize my well-being. I tend to have a slower turnaround time, ranging from a couple of weeks to a month.My style does tend to change between pieces slightly depending on what I want to focus on. If there's any direction in the examples you would want me to follow, please let me know ahead of time. Otherwise, I'll let you know what direction I'd be looking to go in, with your approval of course!
Update (11/14/21): added a few guidelines regarding NFTs and other subjects I will not draw. These are marked with a * before them.
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms of service. If you have any questions, or want any clarification, please let me know.
Payments are to be made up-front, via paypal invoice, within 48 hours. For commissions over $100, can be split up between paying up front and at completion.
Commissioners must be over 18.
You can check the status of your commission on my Trello, or ask me directly if you have any questions or would want to make clarifications.
Full refunds can be given before the sketch has started. Partial refunds for the amount completed up until flats can be given. Refunded commissions may be re-purposed as a YCH and sold. No refund will be given for completed art.
If you file a dispute on a completed artwork, or have multiple refunds, then I may choose to no longer work with you.
Changes to sketches are free. Afterwards, there are 5 free changes. Prices for additional changes depend on the amount of work.
(If I make a mistake or miss something on a reference sheet, fixing those don't count towards the count.)
I will not draw offensive and harmful characters, including but not limited to: transphobic/intersexist/homophobic, culturally appropriative, racist, or otherwise fetishistic designs.
*None of my art, whole or in part, is to be used in NFTs ("Non Fungible Tokens"), the blockchain, or cryptocurrency in any form.
Likewise, I will not work with clients who support the above.
*There are certain subjects I don't feel comfortable drawing in general, including anything relating to the following: christmas, weddings, or the modern military. You can still commission art for a christmas or anniversary gift for example, but I won't be able to make it themed around those subjects. Thanks for your understanding.
You can upload your commission, just don't remove my watermark. If you do crop the art to use an icon for example, please be sure to credit me.
If you plan to use the art for an icon, twitter banner, etc, let me know! I'd be happy to accommodate.
Character Design TOS
In addition to my normal TOS, the following apply for my designs specifically:
You're free to make any edits to a design as long as you credit me as the original maker and the edits themselvs stay within my TOS (For example, you cannot take a design I made and turn it into something that promotes hateful content)
I work best with either detailed descriptions and visuals OR artistic liberty. If you have a vision in mind, the more detailed you are the better I'm able to bring it to life!
I will present to you rough concepts for all commission types first, then will clean and refine the design along with the art once a direction is chosen.
For both existing designs that need a reference, or for characters I design myself.
Simple Reference
Design + Reference: $105
Reference only: $60
Top/back view: +$5Simplified reference consisting of a side view of your character plus a headshot. I can also include up to 5 smaller elements such as eye detail, accessories, specific markings, etc.
Symmetrical Reference
Design + Reference: $75
Reference only: $30An on-base symmetrical reference. Comes with front and back view and can have up to 3 smaller elements similar to above. A more budget friendly option!
Design Only
Design: $45

I love making joke edits/shitty memes/redraws and would absolutely enjoy sharing my gift with the world.These are generally pay what you want, but minimum is $3 for a small edit. Redraws can cost around $10+ depending on how much I can trace vs how much I need to draw myself.JPEG compression, deep frying, and otherwise enshittification of your image are VERY fun for me to do and will not add an extra fee. I can make these edits look as realistic or bad you want.
